The Moon Motor Car Company introduced the White Prince of Windsor in January 1929 with an advertising campaign which used illustrations of H.R.H. the Prince of Wales and the fleur-de-lis crest of the Prince. Following objections from the British Royal Family, the White Prince did not go into production and was renamed the Windsor (see Windsor).
Emblem
The black, white, blue and gold enamel White Prince radiator emblem shown above is believed to be the single remaining sample White Prince radiator emblem made for the Moon Motor Car Company by D L Auld and is ultra rare.
