Albert J Romer had had a long and varied career in the automobile industry, including the design of the Northway (see Northway), when he set up his Romer Motors Corporation in March 1921.
The Romer was an assembled 52 hp six-cylinder car using standard components throughout. But things did not work out and automobile production was discontinued in late 1921. Romer then went on to make a few 1-1/4-ton trucks but production of these also stopped in mid-1922.

The blue and white enamel Romer radiator emblem shown above is extremely rare.
