Although the Cleveland Automobile Company operated as an independent company, the Cleveland automobile was in fact a smaller, lower priced companion car to the Chandler (see Chandler).
In December 1924 a stock Cleveland car was driven up Mount Wilson in record time and in January 1925 another Cleveland was driven for a thousand miles in 14 hours without an engine stop to achieve another record. But by the end of 1925, the company was absorbed by Chandler and production of the Cleveland ceased.
Emblem
The Cleveland carried a simple metal radiator emblem, see example above.
