The Eagle-Macomber Motor Car Company was established in 1914 after a reorganization of the Eagle Cyclecar Company, which had been formed a few months earlier to build the Eagle cyclecar in Chicago. Operations moved to a larger factory in Sandusky in Ohio in November 1915.

The Eagle was initially a 12/14 hp staggered seat cyclecar powered by a rotary five-cylinder air-cooled engine but grew to be an 18 hp roadster by 1915. Very few Eagle cyclecars were built, as the market for cyclecars in America had begun to wane by this time.

The Eagle-Macomber was a larger 28 hp five-cylinder light car and first appeared in 1916 for the 1917 model year as a two or three passenger roadster. For 1918, five-passenger touring and sedan models were offered. However, the business did not succeed and it was all over in 1918.

Total Eagle-Malcomber production was only about ten cars.

Emblem

I have not seen an Eagle cyclecar emblem and I cannot confirm that an emblem was used on the Eagle. If you have details of any Eagle cyclecar emblems, please let me know, in order to update this post.

The blue enamel Eagle-Macomber radiator emblem shown above is extremely rare.
