The World Motors Company was established following a reorganization of the Steinkoenig Motors Company, which had made assembled trucks in Cincinnati between 1925 and 1927.
World trucks were offered in the range 1-1/2-tons to 5-tons capacity mainly using straight-eight engines. The company was relatively small and depended on buyers in the Cincinnati area. World trucks were expensive and, as a result, did not survive the Depression. World Motors Company was finished by 1931.
