The Ohio Electric Car Company was incorporated in September 1909 and initially shared the Milburn Wagon Company factory but moved to its own factory in 1911.
Ohio Electric advertising was clearly aimed at the female driver and offered tiller steering from both a front or rear seat, so the lady driver could drive in privacy if required. The Ohio Electric utilized magnetic control, which allowed every operation in running the car to be achieved from a small hand held pad, including the application of the brakes. The Ohio Electric used the slogan "The Only Car for the Woman of Refinement Today".
Only twelve cars were built for 1910 but production had increased to 650 annually by 1916. The sale of electric cars had by then began to diminish and by 1917, half of the Ohio Electric business was in body making for other manufacturing companies. It was all over for the Ohio Electric in 1918.
Emblems
The Ohio Electric did not have a conventional hood and radiator and did not carry an emblem.
Ohio Electric advertisements did show a shield-shaped logo with the initials "O E", see examples shown below:

However, I can find no evidence that these logos were used as Ohio Electric emblems.
The "Ohio" name was displayed externally on the hubcaps, see the photo of a surviving Ohio Electric shown below:
